Karrebæksminde is a quiet fjord and harbour town on Zealand's south coast, its channel connecting the Baltic to the inland Karrebæk Fjord — flat, watery countryside good for cycling, sailing and simple beach days, without the crowds of Denmark's better-known coastal resorts.
Møn, reached by bridge from the mainland, is best known for Møns Klint, a dramatic stretch of white chalk cliffs rising straight out of the Baltic, and for its officially certified dark skies — one of the best places in Denmark for stargazing, with little light pollution to interfere.
