Tiny houses in Spain

Spain's verified cabins spread across three very different landscapes: Andalusia's white-village hills, La Palma's volcanic dark skies, and the granite peaks of Sierra de Gredos.

Our Andalusian stays sit around El Gastor, one of the pueblos blancos, the whitewashed hill villages of the Sierra de Grazalema, where lakes and mountains sit within easy reach of Ronda and the Costa del Sol. La Palma, in the Canary Islands, is a volcanic island known for its officially certified dark skies — home to major astronomical observatories and some of the best stargazing conditions in Europe — plus a coastline of black volcanic-sand beaches.

Sierra de Gredos, closer to Madrid in Castile and León, is a granite mountain range popular with hikers for its glacial cirques and the Circo de Gredos, and known for a resident population of Spanish ibex often visible on the high slopes.

Our six verified stays here are cabins and bungalows, mostly with one or two bedrooms and room for two to four guests. June to September is warm and dry across all three regions, best for hiking and La Palma's clearest stargazing nights; spring and autumn bring milder temperatures for Andalusia and Gredos alike. Our verified selection spans three distinct corners of Spain, with more of the country still to check.

How we choose what counts as a tiny house

Booking sites don’t have a “tiny house” category — they file these stays under the generic “Accommodation” label. So we check every place by name and type and list only genuine free-standing small homes: tiny houses (on wheels or fixed), cabins, glamping pods, shepherd huts, yurts, domes and tree houses. No hotel rooms, no ordinary apartments.

Prices and availability come from our booking partners and can change at any time. Booking links are affiliate links — booking through them supports this site at no extra cost to you. Property type is checked from the listing name and category; if you spot a mistake, let us know.
