Pembrokeshire, in south-west Wales, is built around its coast path — over 300 kilometres of clifftop trail past beaches, sea stacks and puffin colonies, one of Britain's best-known long-distance walks. Cornwall, at England's south-western tip, needs little introduction: a coastline of coves, surf beaches and fishing villages that has drawn holidaymakers for generations.
