Siargao's tiny-house scene has grown up fast around General Luna, close enough to the Cloud 9 surf break to hear it from a hammock — mostly cabins and A-frames set back in palm jungle rather than right on the sand, built simple and open to the tropical air. It's a young, surf-driven crowd here more than a family-resort one, and the cabins reflect that: compact, informal, built for a week of surfing and island-hopping rather than a big group.
Beyond the break, days go to boat trips out to Sugba Lagoon's turquoise water and the natural rock pools at Magpupungko, best timed around low tide. General Luna itself has grown into a proper small strip of cafés and surf shops, so evenings are easy even on an island this remote — though remote is relative, since most of the world's surf forecasts have had Cloud 9 on the map for decades.
