Tiny houses in El Bolsón & Patagonia

El Bolsón sits in a broad valley so sheltered by surrounding peaks that locals have long called it a microclimate — summers are warm and dry while the rest of Patagonia shrugs off rain. Cerro Piltriquitrón looms directly above town and rewards a full day's hike with views that stretch to Chile in clear weather. Lago Puelo is an hour south for turquoise glacier water and kayaking; El Hoyo is raspberry and hop country with small farm stays dotting the hillsides. November through April is the season; outside those months, many tiny houses close and mountain passes can snow over.
